James G. Waters

James G. Waters, age 88, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away June 21, 2022. U.S. Army Veteran. Retired from the USPS. Former member of Lincoln Baptist Church. Jim was a marathon runner and enjoyed international post crossing which his granddaughters are carrying on the tradition. After retirement Jim enjoyed doing deliveries for Hill Top Florist, Napa Auto Parts, and Meals on Wheels.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Waldo “Wally” and Frances Waters. Survived by his daughters, Heather Waters, Heidi Waters and Hope Waters and their mother, Nancy Waters, lifelong friend, and former wife of Jim’s; granddaughters, Courtney N. (Tyrel) Tyner and Sarah L. Waters; great-grandson who has been named Jimmy who will arrive this September; brother and sister-in law, William “Bill” (Frances) Waters; many other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, beginning at 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio, with Pastor Dr. Tim W.
