James Snyder

James R, Snyder, age 92, of Columbus, passed away April 19, 2017 at Kensington Place. Jim had a strong faith in the Lord and was a longtime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Retired stationary engineer from Children's Hospital, where he enjoyed working. Jim was an avid woodworker and a member of Gallipolis Boat Club.

Preceded in death by parents, James and Pearl Snyder; brother John Snyder. Survived by his wife, Edith Whittington Snyder of 45 years of marriage; children, Paul David Snyder, James Snyder, Blair (Judy) Sell, Mike (Carolyn) Sell, Leah (David) Niswonger, and Janice Sell; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 12-3 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 E. Markison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43207, Pastor Edward Engelbrecht and Rev. Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
