James Dodson

James P. Dodson, age 51, of Orient, lost his courageous battle with diabetes on Friday April 13, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by mother, Helen "Pat" Bish, grandparents, Lloyd Sr. and Janis Dodson and Walter and Lorraine Brown. Survived by devoted wife of 18 years, Sue Dodson; sons, Shay and Joey; parents, Lloyd Jr. and Helen Dodson, sisters, Jodi (Irving) Christenson and Kim (Billy) Robson; brothers, Jeff (Karen) Dodson and Doug Dodson and many loving relatives. Also survived by special friends Bill and Norma Frush and Fred Adams. Jim loved his K-9 companion, "Bo" and his favorite equine rescue, "Pee Wee". The family would like to thank and acknowledge Jim's sister-in-law, Cathy McDonald for her constant care and compassion and Ashley Buckley his daytime caregiver. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-5 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 1 p.m., Rev. Dr. Willliam L. Snider officiating. To honor Jim's lifestyle, please feel free to dress comfortably in casual clothes or jeans for the service on Monday. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery.
