James Cyrus

James M. Cyrus, age 69, of Columbus, passed away April 1, 2014. Jim loved working and was a heavy machine equipment operator for Darby Excavation. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and was an avid Buckeye fan. He is preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Clara Martha Cyrus; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Linda Cyrus. He is survived by his son, Jamy A. Cyrus; grandchildren, Carson and Natalie Cyrus; Jim is also survived by his beloved companion of 18 years, Nancy; brothers, Gary (Mary), Pete (Carol), Glen (Tess), and Larry Cyrus; sister, Carol (Larkin) Smith; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. Visitation Friday April 4, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 11 a.m., Rev. Ron Goodling officiating. Interment to follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Ohio. Jim was a very loving, compassionate and patient person who would help anyone and will be dearly missed.
