Isabel Dunkle

Isabel Astacia Dunkle (nee Hamilton), age 95, of Catonsville, Maryland, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died March 22, 2011 at Augsburg Lutheran Home, Baltimore, MD where she was a resident. She was a member of Gates-Fourth United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio, where she lived for many years before moving to Maryland and an active congregant of Salem United Methodist Church of Hebbville, MD. She was a member of Lorraine Chapter No. 1 of Eastern Star in Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Franklin Dunkle, Sr.; step-son Benjamin Franklin "Jiggs" Dunkle, Jr.; step-daughter Nancy Dunkle Dague; mother Bertha Hamilton White; father Frank Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law Marguerite and Allan Biegler; and sister-in-law Dorothy Hamilton. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Bill Hogue; granddaughter and husband Jennifer and Bryan Townsend; great-granddaughter Amelia Townsend; brother Willard Hamilton; nieces Barbara (Dick) Morris, Shirley Hamilton; nephews Douglas Biegler, Frank (Tonya) Hamilton. Also survived by many more relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio where services will be held Monday 10 a.m. Rev. Wendy Lybarger officiating.
