Inge Steele

Inge Steele passed away at home on April 10, 2008. Born in Numberg, Germany, she has made her home for over 50 years in Whitehall. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bob Steele, a WWII veteran, retired from DCSC. She is survived by her much loved son, Luke Steele and daughter, Debbie. Also survived by grandchildren, Hans, Jessica, Matthew, Chrissy Kunkel and Haley Steele and great-grandchildren, Ashley Childers, Amaya, Mia and Isa Fields, Damien Hanse, and Aleah Allendorfer, Nate and Hannah, cousin, Louise and many relatives in Germany An avid cook and gardener, Inge brought a bit of Europe to Whitehall and to her family, neighbors and friends who daily benefited from her lovingly prepared cuisine. Inge was active in the Whitehall Moose, Whitehall VFW. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m., Entombment Green Lawn Mausoleum. Following entombment, the family invites friends to join them at the Whitehall VFW.
