b. January 2, 1918

Helen (Branscome) Mapou, born January 2, 1918, to Hazel and Cecil Taylor. Preceded in death by husband, Lee Branscome, sons, Thomas and James Branscome, siblings, Fred Swickard, Mary Forshey, Clarine Dunigan. Survived by husband Milton Mapou, son, Charles (Shirley) Branscome, brother, Jackson (Marge) Taylor of Columbus, daughters-in-law Carolyn Branscome and Janet Zarley, stepson Craig (Donna) Mapou, 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Benfield Christian Church, Hamilton Township Golden Agers, Hamilton Township Homemakers and Pearl Harbor Survivors Association. She was very involved in crafts and loved cooking which her family will greatly miss. Friends may call Sunday 1-3 and 5-7 at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, where service will be held Monday 10 AM., Pastor Robert Ellenberger officiating. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may direct memorials to Benfield Christian Church.
