Harvey McKenzie

Harvey J. McKenzie, 63, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2024, at his sister's home in Powell, Ohio. Born on January 11, 1961, in Columbus, Harvey graduated from South High School in 1979. He went on to enjoy a career at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where he loved his job and was known as a dedicated worker. Harvey was known for his strong work ethic, his deep love of sports-especially cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes-and his adventurous spirit. Whether it was skydiving, zip-lining, or exploring new places, he embraced new experiences with his family. A loyal friend and a dedicated family man, Harvey's memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his jokester personality and sense of adventure. He is survived by his children: Nicole (Nick) Bartling, 46, Dustin Mckenzie, 43, and Crystal Mckenzie, 39; his sister Rita (Dave) Grabovich; his grandchildren Tori Conn, Amber Bartling, Lindsey Bartling, Nicholas Bartling, and Vanessa Bartling; and his six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Carol and Marvin Kennedy; his father, Larry McKenzie; and his brother, David McKenzie. 

Family will receive friends, Sunday September 22, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207, with Pastor Gary Kirk officiating. Graveside service and burial, Monday September 23, 2024, at 12 noon at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio. 43223.
