Gladys Watkins

Gladys M. Watkins, age 81, was called by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to join her husband of 56 years, Joseph W. Watkins and her daughter, Edith Ann (Watkins) Marcum, to participate in a Homecoming celebration in Heaven on April 17, 2008. It is her desire that her five surviving children, Frederick (Donna) Watkins, Daniel (Wilma) Watkins, Robert (Connie) Watkins, Rebecca (John) Smitherman and Thomas (Kim) Watkins and son-in-law, Marty Marcum; as well as her16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and all their spouses will eventually join her for a continuous and joyful reunion! Gladys was a charter member of Parsons Baptist Church and a frequent guest of Pastor Tim Stout at Heritage Freewill Baptist. She was also an ardent fan of the Cincinnati Reds. She will be truly missed by her many, many friends. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
