Geraldine Reeves

Geraldine "Gerry" Louise Reeves (Valentine) born April 20, 1922, passed this earthly life on January 9, 2011. A child of the depression, a member of the "greatest generation" and graduate of South High School; Gerry worked for Curtis Wright Manufacturing before joining and proudly serving in the Waves during World War II. She was a member of East Linden United Methodist Church and Riverside Sewing Guild 27. Preceded in death by parents Adrian Dorsey and Mary Magdalene (VonVille) Valentine, husband of 45 years, Ollie Walker Reeves, brother Bud (Joanne) Valentine, sister Georgia (Fred) Nixon and step-sister, Donna Stauch. Gerry is survived by her children Karl (Bonnie) Reeves of Westerville, Kathy Stethem (Bill Kocher) of Westerville, and Kay (Dennis) McCann of Canal Winchester; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; half-sister Carol Meyers; step-brother Lewis Stauch; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
