Gerald D. Walker Sr., age 86, Retired First Sergeant, USMC, of Columbus, passed away peacefully in his home on December 20, 2015 in Galena. Gerald was born in Columbus, OH to Warren and Dorothy Walker on November 13, 1929. Gerald served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps with tours in Korea and Vietnam.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Norma Walker. Gerald is survived by his brother Jack (Jo) Walker and his sister Norma Jean Davis; his children Gerald (Kelli) Walker Jr, Victoria (Richard) Devot, and Cynthia (Andy) Russell; his grandchildren Brooke (Tim) Smith, Jarrad Deskins Walker, Keegan (Charlissa) Corrigan, Valerie Russell, Adam Russell, Mick Walker; his great-grandchildren Marina, Elizabeth, Alexis, Dieken, Evy, and Vaughn; and his great-great-grandchild Adalynn.
