Gerald French

Gerald (Jerry) G. French, age 79, of Columbus, passed away at home May 23, 2016. Retired USAF Veteran, Master Sergeant Flying Combat Crew, Vietnam. Realtor and property manager for many years. Member of American Legion 144 and a long time member of the Honor Guard with VFW 3424. Had a passion for woodworking. Preceded in death wife, Shirley, daughter, Linda French, and parents, Archie and Ruth French. Survived by daughter, Cathy French; siblings, Doris (William) Willhauck, Karen French, Patsy (Dan) Garza, and Larry (Loretta) French; brothers-in-law, Norman (Sharon) Franke, Charles Franke, Richard Franke, Gary Franke and Rod Franke; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Interment with military honor to follow at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
