Geneva Crabtree

Geneva Mae Crabtree, age 92 passed away peacefully at Brookdale Pinnacle on February 17, 2022.  She was born July 7, 1929, in Lockbourne, Ohio. Geneva was a long-time resident of the Village of Obetz where she worked for the Village of Obetz for over 31 years. Member of Obetz Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years. Graduate of Hamilton Township High School. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years Thomas Crabtree; parents George and Florence Costlow; siblings George Jr., Hank Costlow, Bill Costlow, Betty Flowers, Norma Steele, Shirley Meeks and Connie Costlow; many brother and sister in-laws. Survived by her three children Michael Crabtree of Obetz, Janet (Bill) Chaky of Flower Mound, Texas, Kenny (Diane) Crabtree of Grove City, Ohio; grandchildren Chad (Gina) Crabtree, Sara (Eric) Renko, Beth Chaky, Allison (Brian) Hackler, Kelsey (Christo) May, Jessica (Josh) Jacobs and Chelsea Crabtree; great-grandchildren Molly, Addelyn, Sofie, Bruce, Camden, Preston, William, Anna, Nora, Alice, Heidi, Samuel, Jackson, Marley and Magnolia; sister Barbara Parsons, brother/sister in-laws Dorothy Hayes, Lawrence (Delores) Hayes, Darlene Downing, Russ (Diane) Solomon; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Wednesday February 23, 2022, from 4-7 pm at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High St., Columbus, OH. 43207, where service will be held Thursday February 24, 2022, at 11:00 am.  Pastor Jay Schlenker officiating. In lieu flowers contributions made be made to Brookdale Pinnacle Hospice or Obetz Church of the Nazarene in Geneva’s honor. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
