Gene Long

Gene Long passed quietly in his home on November 15, 2024, he was 91 years old. Gene was a husband, a father, grandfather, a great grandfather, a stepfather, and a friend to many family members, co-workers, and neighbors. Babies loved Gene. He is survived by many who will miss him. Most notably he is survived by his Sister Armia Long Barker who turned 94 in October 2024.Gene was born in West Virginia and has been a resident of Columbus for 70 years. Gene was a quiet man who loved his family, he loved to hunt, he loved to go to lunch and was most happy when fishing. We will miss his quiet nature, his unfailing handyman craftsmanship, and his friendship.
