Garnet Boden

Garnet Boden, age 89, of Columbus, died March 31, 2011 at Echo Manor in Pickerington. Lifetime Columbus resident, Garnet Louise Sheets was born on April 12, 1921 To Bertha & Clifford Sheets. She was twelve days short of her 90 birthday. She was the second child in a family of four girls and three boys. She married Martin Edward Boden on Aug. 10,1940 (Celebrated their 70 Anniversary last year). She enjoyed boating, water skiing ;bowling.She was a long time member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Loved people and only spoke with kindness of others. She is survived by her husband Martin, son Jan, daughter-in-law Sandra of Pickerington; grandson Martin III, and great- grandchildren Martin IV, Grace and Jack and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 12 noon to 2 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERA HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating.
