Fred Tilley

Fred W. Tilley, age 76, of Columbus, passed away on April 6, 2012 at Mt. Carmel West. Retired U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Veteran. Retired fireman from Rickenbacker Air Force Base. Member of American Legion Southway Post No. 144. Preceded in death by parents Fred W. and Helen Tilley and sister, Norma Walker. Survived by wife, Nadine (Haynes) Tilley of Columbus; children, Sheila Gray and Kenneth Tilley; grandchildren, Lanell, Angela, and Ashley Gray; great-grandchildren, Robby Hodge; Angelina, Jeffrey and Alex Jackson; James Webb; Makayla Orr, and Harlie Merrick; brothers, David Garlinger of Columbus and Rodney Benson of FL; special nephew, Rick Fout and many other nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m., Rev. Paul King officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions Mt. Carmel Hospice.
