Fred Kunkel

Fred H. Kunkel, age 80, of Columbus, passed away November 24, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Loyal member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. 50 year plus member of Painters Local Union 1275. Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Elizabeth Kunkel; brothers, Richard Jr., Harold, and Edward Kunkel; sister, Cecelia Jenkins; grandchildren, James II., Elizabeth and Erica. Survived by wife of 54 years, Beverly Kunkel; siblings, William Kunkel, Dorothea Thompson, Robert Kunkel, and Katherine "Cookie" Cunningham; children, Richard (Linda) Kunkel, James Kunkel, Timothy (Kathlyn) Kunkel, Donna (Bill) Kunkel, Tina (Mark) Carsey, Michael (Melissa) Kunkel; special adopted son, Dan (Jenny) Mullett; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 29, 2017 beginning at 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Pastor Edward Engelbrecht and Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating. Entombment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
