Francis Merriman

Francis "Bud" Merriman, age 73, of Columbus, passed away at home August 16, 2011. Retired Deputy Sheriff with Franklin County. Member of F.O.P. Capital City Lodge No. 9., Buckeye State Sheriffs' Assoc., and Babberts Club. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Cassandra Cyrus. Survived by wife of 52 years, Beverly Merriman; daughter, Teresa (Bobby) Cyrus of South Bloomfield; son Brian (Paulette) Merriman of West Jefferson; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) Tinney, Sara (Jeremy) Kirk, Brian Merriman Jr., and Michael Rose; 8 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Merriman; special friends Bill, BJ, Mike and Linda; many other relatives and friends.
