Evlyn King

Evlyn King, age 78, of Grove City, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2011 with her family at her side. Member of Hilock Fellowship Church. Evlyn was the last surviving member of the Bluegrass Edenaires. Preceded in death by husband Carl King Jr; son-in-law Danny J. Thompson and 6 siblings. Survived by daughters Ginny (Charlie) Hootman of Ashville, Nancy (Ronnie) Thompson and Connie (Randy) Thompson all of Grove City; grandchildren, Matt (Judy) Thompson, Josh (Tracy) Thompson, Jeremy (Chrissy) Thompson, and Shanda (Chris) Willy; great-grandchildren, Megan, Wyatt, Rileah, Jacob, Caleb, Taylor and Madison. Evlyn's daughter, Nancy Thompson died unexpectedly on March 14, 2011. Services for both Evlyn and her daughter, Nancy Thompson will be held Thursday March 17, 2011 with visitation beginning at 12 noon with service to follow at 2 p.m. at Hilock Fellowship Church, 3210 U.
