Eunice Thompson

Eunice Thompson, age 84, of Columbus, finished her journey and passed away to be with the Lord on February 21, 2011 at Grant Medical Center. Longtime attendee of Southside Baptist Church. Member of the Ohio Farm Bureau and AARP; Proud supporter of the Disabled American Veterans, U.S. Olympic Team, and the children of St. Josephs American Indian School. Preceded in death by husband Kenneth Thompson; parents Jesse and Susie Gartin; brother John Ray Gartin; half-brothers, Lunda Gartin, Hubert Gartin, and James Gartin, and half-sister Sharon. Survived by daughter, Andrea Thompson; grandson, Steve Conrad; sister, Lula Ball, all of Columbus; half-sister June Lyons, Joyce (James) Martin, Janet, Melva, and Nita; sister-in-law Joan Rader of Van Lear, KY; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., additional visitation Friday beginning at 11 a.m. with service to follow at 1 p.m., Pastor Ron Duty of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
