Ellen was a homemaker for most of her young life, later retiring from the State of Ohio, Welfare Dept. of Jobs and Family Service. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Throughout her lifetime she was a Dedicated servant of the Lord. She taught Sunday School, VBS, and was guest speaker at many women groups. She was very active in Women’s Auxiliary and Ohio Women Active for Christ, holding several officer positions in local and state districts. Ellen was an active member of Columbus First Free Will Baptist Church, Williams Road Free Will Baptist Church and lastly at Reynoldsburg Free Will Baptist Church. She was always available to love, teach, mentor, and share her love of Christ in any way she could. She loved to travel and see new places. She never met a stranger, loved and befriended anyone she met. She was loved and adored by two magnificent men; Lovell Cordial and Delmas Sargent. Those that loved her will never forget her energy, smiles, hugs and blessings. Our hearts are breaking, and she will be loved for eternity, however, our souls are rejoicing as she enters her eternal peace and rest.
