Edgar Franklin Lumpkin, age 58, of Columbus, died April 7, 2011 at home. U.S. Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Lumpkin. Survived by his father, Edgar Franklin Lumpkin and his wife, Parmida of France; sisters, Rima (Bob) Straight of Fredericksburg, VA., and Toni Lumpkin of France; uncle, Sam (Lee) Lumpkin; aunt Barbara Toomer; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; his friend and companion Helen Seberig .
