Earl J. Bogan, age 68 , of Mt. Sterling died January 3, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Preceded in death by sister, Geneva Pryor. Survived by wife of 49 years, Emma Darst Bogan; daughter, Clara (Mark) Hammond of Orient; son, Earl D. Bogan of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Elijah and E.J. Bogan of Mt. Sterling; Joseph (Kelly) Hammond of Columbus, Pete Hammond and Zachery Hammond of Mt. Sterling; brother-in-law, Emerson (Faye) Darst of FL; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Pastor Donald Allman officiating. Private inurnment in Walnut Hill Cemetery at a later date.
