Rev. E. Herschel Holley Jr., age 56 of Canal Winchester, went home to be with Jesus on January 7, 2008. Pastor with the Churches of Christ in Christian Union for more than 35 years, currently Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Ministries. Survived by wife of more than 36 years, Mary Holley; daughters and sons-in-law, Elisabeth and Mike Howard of Columbus and Sara and Jason Groff of Lockbourne; His grandchildren, Christian Howard, Elisha Howard , Caden Groff, and Meredith Groff; father, Emmett H. Holley Sr; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Mary "Sam" Holley of Newark; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Holley and sister, Barbara Holley Adams; Family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 p.m. at Lighthouse Ministries, 2295 S. High St., where service will be held Friday 10:30 a.m., Dr. Keith Grove officiating. Interment Harrison Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Lighthouse Ministries.
