Dorothy Whitacre

Dorothy L. Whitacre, age 94, of Columbus, died on April 12, 2008, also the date of her birth. Former owner of Whitacre Flowers. Former member of Southeast Lions Auxiliary and also a member of the former South United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Louis E. Whitacre. Survived by children, John (Caroline) Whitacre of Columbus, Thomas (Linda) Whitacre of Columbus, Louise (Robert) Middendorf of Pickerington and Mary Beth (Val) Macioce of Circleville; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Bixler of Indiana; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m., Rev. Kevin Kellogg officiating.
