Dorothy Compton

Dorothy J. Chinn Compton, age 88, passed from this life on May 5, 2021 at her home. Born on June 11, 1932. She was married to Aubrey W. Compton Jr., on July 12, 1949 in Covington, Kentucky, a marriage that endured for 34 years. From this union 6 beautiful children were born. Kathy Kaye (Ray) Ramsey, Karen Sue Angel, Kim E. (Vicki) Compton, Kandy Lynn Fout, Kacy Ann (Kenny) Schirtizinger, and Kelly Scott (Angie) Compton. Dorothy was blessed with multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren all of whom were greatly loved. Preceded in death by husband, Aubrey; mother and father, Mary Dorothy and William E. Chinn; grandson, Kris Compton; brother, Gerald Allen and his wife of many years, Dottie Lou Chinn, and one beautiful sister whose life was cut short much too soon, sister, Joyce Elaine Agriesti. Dorothy leaves one brother, William M. Chinn and wife, Tara; many nieces and nephews.

Friends who were true and dear, Debbie and Charles Gwinn, Larry and Ginger Wright and family, Alice Zitzke and family, Steve DeLong, and the late Margaret Benham. Dorothy attended Southside Baptist Church where she had many friends in Christ Jesus. Till we meet again.

Family will receive friends, Friday, May 7, 2021 beginning at 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., with Pastor Guiles Richardson officiating.
