Donald VanLangen Sr.

Donald W. VanLangen, Sr., age 90, of Columbus, passed away December 24, 2022. Member of Thurman Avenue United Methodist Church. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Member of American Legion Southway Post No. 144 where he served as Past Commander and Honor Guard. Retired from AT&T (Ohio Bell). Don started the Southside Youth Athletic Club, known as the “Little Bulldogs” and was a coach for the youth softball, football, and basketball.

Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years of marriage, Linda VanLangen on Sept. 11, 2022, son, Richard VanLangen, parents, Gerald VanLangen, Clara and Clifford Hill, and brother, William Evanko.

Survived by son, Donald (Tammy) VanLangen Jr., daughter, Gloria (Ershel) Wheeler; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jackie VanLangen, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2022, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service (FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE LIVE STREAMING) at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
