Deloris Weethee

Deloris “Dee” Frances Weethee of Grove City, age 89, passed away on September 22, 2022, with family at her side.  Whenever she was asked her age Dee would always say, “I was born 1-11-33 figure it out for yourself.” Dee was retired from AT&T; member of the “Red Hats” and a member of Capital City Church. Dee’s Christian faith was very important to her; she attended church every Sunday for 57 years without missing a Sunday service and taught Sunday school.  In the later times of her life when she wasn’t well, she would wake up each morning saying, “do we go to church today?” Dee was known to be a hard worker.  Dee enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren which included baking sweet goodies with them; she loved her family dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Lesten and Ethel Fellure; sister, Katie Sayre and brother, Roy Fellure.  Dee is survived by her husband of 70 years, James Weethee Sr.  Son, Jim (Tiffany) Weethee Jr.; grandchildren, Heather (DJ), Ashley (Aaron) and Zachary; great-granddaughter’s, Nyllah and Addi; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday September 29, 2022, beginning at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:30 am at Capital City Church, 464 Rathmell Rd. Lockbourne, OH., with Pastor David Dean officiating.  Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements with GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
