David Greg Scott’s life did not come to an end with his death. Greg passed on December 23, 2021, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who bore witness to his kindness and generosity.

Greg served as a Zucchini Fest volunteer, Planning Commission Member, Councilperson, and ultimately Mayor from 2012 through 2019. Greg’s work for the citizens of Obetz includes many important projects and advancements culminating in the construction of Fortress Obetz—a fifty-acre, regional, entertainment complex.
