David Burkey

David L. Burkey, age 69, of Thornville, went Home to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2019. David loved the outdoors and spending time watching fishermen and boaters at Buckeye Lake. He loved drawing and painting, and his dog, Buck. David was a 1968 graduate of Marion Franklin High School. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Virginia Burkey and his partner, Jerry Brossman. David is survived by his sister, Kathy (Ed) Nagy of Canal Winchester; niece, Amanda (Bryan) Helwig of Gahanna; nephew, Jeff (Keely) Nagy of Delaware; great-nieces, Elizabeth Helwig, Lyla and Luna Nagy; great-nephew, Colton Helwig.

Family will receive friends, Monday, February 18, 2019 beginning at 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Pastor Tim Swanson officiating.
