Cleophus Gilmon, age 82, of Columbus, died April 2, 2008 at Dayton VA Medical Center. Member of Parsons Baptist Church. U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by brother, Bruce Gilmon and sister, Cozie Martin. Survived by wife of 61 years, Peggy; children, Gary D. (Cathy) Gilmon, Linda (Mike) Tanner, Gregory (Pamela) Gilmon and Sherry (William) Greenwood; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roscoe and Albert Gilmon; sisters,Trula Dillon and Barbara Hensley; many nieces, nephews and other relative.
