Cleo Cripe

Cleo Mary Cripe, age 93, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday June 22, 2011. Born June 25, 1917 and raised in Ashland County and graduate of Ashland High School. Former member of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church and Southwood Church of Christ. Cleo was gentle, sweet and loving to all. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Herbert Cripe; parents Lloyd and Anna Gault; step-father Wilmer Gault and brother Wade Gault. Devoted mother to Roderick (Bonnie) Cripe of Columbus, James (Janis) Cripe of Westerville, Cheryl (Bill) Gunther of New Albany and Janis (David) Moore of Reynoldsburg. Cherished grandmother to John, David, Stephen, Princess, Timothy, Thomas Cripe, Christy McNulty, Robert Martin, Holly Culpepper, and Amanda Moore; 17 great-grandchildren; brother Earl (Lavonne) Gault; sisters Opal Aten and Harriet Dickinson of Ashland. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday 10:30 a.m., Pastor Larry McNutt officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
