Clarice Branson

Clarice R. Branson, age 73, went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter, daughter, Deborah and son, Walter (Mary), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Jo Evelyn (Jim) Bidwell of Columbus, Cindy and Susan of Washington; many nieces and nephews. Also survived by Walter's family of 7 siblings, their spouses and children. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother. Once her children were grown, she ventured into other interests she enjoyed. She was a realtor with R.W. Glass Realty for 36 years. She volunteered her wonderful reading ability to The Central Ohio Radio Reading Services for 21 years. She did modeling with CAM Talent Agency for 16 years doing TV commercials, corporate training videos and commercial prints. She worked for the Board of Elections and helped train people on the voting machines. Clarice was a member of The Ladies Red Hats "The Gadabout Gals". Each Sunday she would wear one of her hats to church where she was an active member for 54 years at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She also joined the Grandparents Theatre. She was a very much loved and vivacious person, full of life. You always knew when she was approaching by the distinct sound of her high heels clicking on the hallway floor which will echo in our hearts forever. She will be missed by many. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street. Service will be held Wednesday, 10 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 80 East Markison Ave., Pastor Floyd L. Stolzenburg officiating. Interment Locust Grove Cemetery, Vinton County Ohio.
