Charlotte D. (Fisher) Woolard, 84, Gahanna, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009, at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, OH after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Charlotte was born February 22, 1925, in Fairfield County, OH to Mary (Breitenstein) and Grover Fisher. Charlotte was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Parthenia Chapter #124, a member of the Baltimore Methodist Church, The Estates Golf Club and Valley View Golf Club. Her early work history was with the Liberty Union School System as a Secretary to the Superintendent; she retired from Crown Zellerbach as the Plant Manager's Secretary and was in charge of Labor Relations, Workers' Compensation and Safety Programs; she also retired from The Athletic Club @ Metro V and Riverside Hospital's Athletic Club where she was in charge of New Memberships and various Accounting Procedures. She was a member of the National Secretary's Association, was an accomplished seamstress and an avid golfer, winning several tournaments. After retiring from Crown Zellerbach, and before starting her second career with the athletic clubs, owned by her son, Ron, she traveled extensively throughout the United States, Hawaii and Australia, with her husband Milton Taylor, Lancaster, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Baltimore, OH, her husband, William C. Woolard, Columbus, OH, her brothers, Clinton Fisher, Carroll, OH and Henry J. Fisher, and sister-in-law Frances (Reinhardt) Fisher, Cincinnati, OH. She is survived by her sister Patricia (Fisher) Smith, (Raymond), Baltimore, OH, sister-in-law, Clarissa (Bugh) Fisher, Carroll, OH, daughters, Sharon (Althoff) Woolard, Myrtle Beach, SC, Tracy (Vinsel) Jorden, Gahanna, OH, son-in-law Lon Vinsel, Gahanna, OH, son, Ronald Woolard, (Janet), Dallas, TX, grandchildren, Corey Slonaker (Stephanie), Columbus, OH, Chadd Slonaker, Lake Worth, FL., Tabytha (Craft) Brown (Greg), Myrtle Beach, SC, Adam Craft, Myrtle Beach, SC, Brian and Michael Woolard, Raleigh, NC, Kelsey Woolard, Gahanna, OH, Jessica (Vinsel) Jones (Travis), Carmel, IN, Stefanie, Emily and Zachary Vinsel, Gahanna, OH; and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
