Charles Skinner

Charles "Chuck" A. Skinner Jr., age 93, of Columbus, passed away at home on September 24, 2013. U.S. Army Veteran WWII having served in the European Theatre. Member of American Legion Southway Post No. 144 and Asbury United Methodist Church South. Graduate of South High School Class of 1937. Chuck was a pattern maker and retired from American Pattern Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting in the Hocking Hills and working in his garden. Chuck is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie Skinner, parents, Charles and Hazel Skinner and brother Thomas. Survived by son Gary Skinner of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law Shirley and James Riley of Ashville; grandsons, Kevin, Brian, and Robert Riley; sisters-in-law, Judy Gorrell and Shirley Theobald; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 10 a.m., Pastor Casey Wilson officiating. Interment at Asbury Cemetery at a later date.
