Charles Meldau

Charles “Chuck” Meldau Jr. age 53, of Columbus, passed away March 7, 2018. He was a very active member at Obetz Church of the Nazarene.  Chuck had a love for God, family, the OSU Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Harry and Effie Doddroe and William and Clara Meldau; half-sister Kathy Hockingberry. Chuck is survived by his parents Charles Sr. and Judy Meldau; sister Susan (Steve) Martin; brother Eric Meldau; half siblings Linda and Tim; nieces Lauren Martin (Chris), Raven and Mackenzie Hamilton; nephew Ethan Martin; great-nephews Ryder Martin and Wyatt Arrick; numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, and his longtime friend who was like a brother, Bill Fleck. The family wishes to thank The James Cancer Hospital for the care and support they provided to Chuck.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1 – 5 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10 a.m., Pastor Jay Schlenker and Pastor Guiles Richardson officiating. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
