Charles Fleck

Charles Joseph Fleck, "Buddy", 95, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Grant Medical Center. Born on July 16, 1917 to the late Philip and Grace Fleck. Preceded in death by wives Cecilia, Mary and Ruth. He is survived by sister, Dorothy Keller, nephew, Gary (Mary) Keller, great-nephew, Matthew Keller, cousins, friends, and step children. Charles graduated from the Ohio State School for the Blind in 1938. He worked at Curtis Wright and Timken before working in the Ohio State Vending Program for 31 years. He retired in 1985. He was a member of the Mutual Benefit Club and the Central Avenue CCCU. He enjoyed music, especially the piano, guitar and keyboard. He had a fantastic memory-always able to tell you birth dates of the family. His sense of humor will be missed. Visitation Wednesday, April 17 from 4-7 PM at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will take place Thursday at 10 AM. Pastor Gary Kirk officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
