Charles Stephen Corwin, born March 29, 1930, passed away at his residence, in Grove City on June 2, 2009. Preceded in death by parents Joel and Victoria Corwin, sisters Pearlene and Edith; father-in-law and mother-in-law William and Hazel Mitchell. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Donna Mitchell Corwin, daughters Pamela Dalton (Lloyd) and Teri Averill (Rory) and son Stephen Corwin (Eileen); 8 grandchildren Kenneth Corwin (Clara), Kimberly Ayala (Pedro) Megan Mancini (David) Amanda Graham (Tony) Ashley Grigg (David Paul) Lindsay Dalton, Ryan Long (Adam) and Layne Averill; 9 great-grandchildren Austin, Abigail, Gabriel and Gage Corwin, Isabella and Ian Ayala, Elena and Amelia Mancini, Morgan Grigg; brothers, Samuel Corwin of Delaware and James Corwin of Lynchburg Va.; brothers-in-law Boyd Mitchell (Marty) and Tim Mitchell (Sharon); several nieces and nephews. He served in the Korean War in the United States Army Corp of Engineers, attached to the Air Force, stationed at Camp Beal Air Force in California. Charles was a member of the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. He was founder and CEO of Jon-Cor Commercial Construction Company which he established in 1985. Prior to this he was employed by Robert H. Johns Company as Vice President. Viewing and Funeral Service will be held at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene at 4770 Hoover Road Grove City, Ohio 43123. Family and Friends may visit on Thursday 4-8 p.m., Funeral service Friday June 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Owen Stotts officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.
