Charlene Brock

Charlene "Chickie" L. Brock, age 70, of Grove City, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2014 at Kobacker House with her daughter at her side. Retired from IBM and Kal Kan Columbus. Co-Treasurer of Grove City Community Club where she was an active member and Co-Chairwoman of the spring and fall card parties, as well as an active member of Buckeye Miata Club. Graduate of Whitney Point Senior High School in New York. Graduated from Broome Technical Community College in New York with her AAS in Business Technology - Engineering Secretary. Preceded in death by husband of 47 years, William Brock; daughter Michelle Lynn Mutchler; parents Bertha and Otto Henningsen; brothers Gary Henningsen and Mark Henningsen, and nephew Justin Henningsen. Survived by daughter Denise Brock of Grove City (Jon Horn); grandchildren, Cassady Critchfield, Carley Minshall, Marcie Minshall, Tawny Mutchler, and Connor Mutchler; great-grandchildren, Alasia, Shawn, and Londyn; aunt, Peggy Henningsen Lusignan of San Diego, CA; sisters-in-law Kim Henningsen (Ron Vandeburg) of Castle Creek, NY, and Beverly Prus of Ft. Myers, FL; several cousins, nieces, a nephew, and her beloved canine companion Molly. Memorial service and celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Pinnacle Golf Club, 1500 Pinnacle Club Dr., Grove City, OH 43123, Fr. Leo Connolly officiating.
