Channing Mason

Channing Mason, age 38, beloved mate, father, son, brother, and friend, started his next journey very unexpectedly on January 15, 2011. Channing will be missed by his mate, Andrea Nichols and his most precious little daughter, Giovanna, his mother and best friend, Linda (Rock-Mason) Whitacre and step-father Tom; father T. Steven Mason; brother and best friend, Steve (Tami) Mason; niece, Natasha; nephew, Caleb Mason; grandparents, Barbara and Robert Keller and Ted Mason; Uncles, Charles (Sue) Keller and Paul Rock; niece, Lindsey (John) Eli; step-brother Greg (Erin) Monroe. Channing will also be missed by his many friends from his years living in Bexley, Westerville, and Clintonville. Channing loved and excelled in his career as a chef. He worked for several of the top catering companies in Columbus. He enjoyed creating and serving food as much as we all enjoyed eating it. From a toddler on, Channing thoroughly enjoyed living life and bringing everyone else with him for the ride. In the past few years Channing enjoyed a green thumb and puttering around the house. He became quite a good handyman. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up in Channing's daughter's name.
