Cecil Schrader

Cecil E. Schrader, age 88, of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away March 4, 2017. Retired Captain, Columbus Division of Police. Member of Capital City FOP Lodge No. 9. Graduate of Columbus South High School, Class of 1947.

Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Marilla Schrader; siblings, Robert E. Schrader; Mary Louise Schrader, Mabel Vandewater, Lucille Ell, and Betty Mae Hutchinson. Survived by wife of 68 years, Jean; sons and daughters-in-law, James "Steve" Schrader and Marie Ballou and Roger and Terri Schrader; brother, Henry L. (Elma) Schrader; sister-in-law, Marilyn "Jean" Schrader; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends, Wednesday March 8, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. (FOP Service to begin at 7 p.m.) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME HOME, 1351 S. High St., where funeral service will be held Thursday March 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
