Catherine Cales

Catherine "Kitty" Cales, age 66, of Columbus, passed away September 25, 2007 at home. Member of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School. Associate of both Sears and Lazarus Department stores and Columbus Public School as a teacher's aid at Lincoln Park. Preceded in death by parents, James and Helen Gerren; brothers, Emmett, James Jr. and Frank Gerren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juliann and Roy Rachford and Helen and Edmund Swisher. Survived by husband of 35 years, Otis Cales; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Hettie Gerren of Lancaster and Alfred and Paddy Gerren of Hawaii; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Andy Taylor of Florida; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and Charles Lively and Betty Gerren; many nieces and nephews other relatives. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., and on Friday 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon, Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. The family wishes to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice for the support and care given.
