Carol Hamilton

Carol J. Hamilton, age 85, of Columbus, went to her eternal rest on April 29, 2011. Preceded in death by husband Charles in 1962; daughter, Sharon Kemmerling in 2009 and grandson, J.D. Hamilton in 1985. Survived by sons, Charles Hamilton and Gary (Brenda) Hamilton; daughters, Nancy Highfield, Rev. Patricia (Rev. Robert) Iddings, and Connie (Ric) Mallory; son-in-law, Ron Kemmerling; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Carol was employed by Columbus City Schools for 25 years. Retired food service manger. Member of Thurman Avenue United Methodist Church. Private family graveside service followed by burial at Green Lawn Cemetery on Monday May 2, 2011. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Thurman Avenue United Methodist Church, 415 Thurman Ave., Columbus, OH 43206 with family receiving friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. with the service to follow at 4:30 p.m. Rev. Patricia and Rev. Robert Iddings and Rev. Jay Moyer officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Thurman Avenue United Methodist Church.
