Carlos Dale

Carlos D. Dale, age 65 of Columbus, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 2, 2023, after an extended illness at Scioto Community Nursing Facility. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 24, 1957. He attended Marion-Franklin High School and Hocking Technical College. Carlos retired from the Columbus Police Department as a Sergeant in 2008 after serving 29 years. He served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1977 through 1982 and was awarded the Merit Basic Training Ribbon and achieved the rank of sergeant. Carlos was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. In the past, Carlos enjoyed retreating to his 45-acre farm in Meigs County Ohio, where he could enjoy nature. He is survived by his mother, Eula F. Dale, Columbus OH, sister, Carlene Davis-Dale, Columbus OH and brother, Ken Dale, Granville OH, along with nieces, nephews & other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles K. Dale, along with his grandparents and other.

Family will receive friends Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street Columbus, OH. 43207 where service will be held Friday, May 5, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Hatfield officiating.

Interment to follow with honors by the Columbus Division of Police Honor Guard at Harrison Township Cemetery.
