Betty Hart

Betty Eileen (Igel) Hart, well loved, life-long Columbus resident, born October 11, 1928, passed into God's loving arms on November 8, 2010 with her family at her side. 1948 Graduate of South High School. Preceded in death by parents Al and Goldie Igel and brother Robert Igel. Survived by husband of 57 years, Billy J. Hart; children Richard Hart (Janet) and Christine Hart Rodgers; grandchildren Keri Rodgers, and Jamie and Jessica Hart; sister Maryellen Oxer (Michael); many cousins, nieces, nephews, and family cat Peanut. Member of St. Margaret of Cortona Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Germania and Woodmen Lodge. Betty's dream was to be a lawyer. She was a world traveler, avid BINGO player and reader. Her favorite vacation was a cruise with her best friend, her sister. We love you and miss you, but are comforted in knowing we shall see you again someday. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 a.m., at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 1600 N. Hague Ave., Columbus OH, 43204, Father Jeff Rimelspach, Celebrant. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
