Bertha Peters

Bertha F. Peters, age 91, of Lockbourne, died July 2, 2007. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Former Sunday school teacher at Lockbourne United Methodist Church and Bible study instructor at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. Former school teacher at Central High School. Graduate of The Ohio State University. Member of Kappa Delta Sorority and The Ohio State Mother's Club. Preceded in death by husband, Frank H. Peters, daughter, Mary Ann Hoddy and sister, Helen Zimmer. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Toni Peters and Frank D. and Susan Peters all of Lockbourne; grandchildren, John C. (Michelle) Hoddy of Virginia, Michael (Grace) Hoddy of New Jersey, Laura (Adam) Brooks of Cincinnati, Marc Peters of Lockbourne, Brian (Galina) Peters of Texas and Sean Peters of Lockbourne; nieces, Suzanne Grabill and Karen Taylor. Family will receive friends Friday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at Walnut Hill United Methodist Church, 975 Rathmell Road, Columbus Ohio, Rev. Jeff Smalley officiating. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Walnut Hill United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
