Bernice Miller

Bernice Miller, born April 23, 1927 in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, died January 8, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Bernice currently resided at Willow Brook Christian Home in Columbus. She worked as a bookkeeper at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Staten, Island, NY until she retired in 1987. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Miller; brother Edward Stephenson; sisters Mary Boaz, Margaret Rhoades, and Jean Jeffrey. Bernice and Franklin were married on February 12, 1949 and moved to New York City in the late 1940's where they settled on Staten Island until 1990 when they moved to Toms River, New Jersey. In 2006 both Bernice and Franklin moved to the Columbus area to be with their daughter. Bernice is survived by 2 children, son Neil F. Miller of Staten Island, NY and daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Steve Casciani of Powell; 2 grandsons Neil L. Miller and Chase Casciani; sister Dorothy Foote and sister-in-law Elizabeth Miller. Family will receive friends Monday from 3-6 p.m with Memorial Service to follow at 6 p.m. GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S.
