Bennie Holbrook

Bennie H. Holbrook, age 83, of Columbus, died peacefully on August 21, 2008 at his daughter's home in Canal Winchester. U.S. Army Veteran, WWII, Member of American Legion Southway Post #144 and VFW Post #3424. Retired from Anderson Concrete. Avid bingo player. Preceded in death by wife, Helen and son, Bennie Holbrook Jr. Survived by children, Jerry Arledge of Chillicothe, Judy (Larry) Yates of Columbus, David (Patty) Holbrook of Columbus and Kathy (Rod) Zaayer of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Mark and Jeff Troiano; Todd Holbrook; Justin, Hilary and Adam Zaayer; great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Brandi; sister-in-law, Ruth Arledge; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Visitation Sunday 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Monday 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
