Benjamin Davis

Benjamin F. Davis, age 76, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2012. U.S. Navy Veteran. Retired from City of Columbus Water Division. Member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by sisters, Celestine Kennard, Audrey Wood, and Dolores Doust; brother, Gerald Davis. Survived by wife of 45 years, Donna Davis; children, Dorina (Randy) Harper, Karen (Mark) Carter, Trina McAllister, Craig McAllister, and Deena McAllister; grandchildren, Emily and Rachel Harper; Rebekah and Sarah Carter; Craig Jr., and Austin McAllister; sisters, Beverly Merriman and Margaret Dennis; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday 10 a.m., Rev. Dr. Tim W. Stout and Pastor Wendell Combs officiating.
