Barbara Sheppard

Barbara Sheppard, age 76, of Columbus, went Home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2018.  Barbara was a children's advocate and active volunteer throughout her lifetime including Thurman Avenue UMC and Broad Street UMC, South Western City Schools and Columbus City Schools. Graduate of Birch High School in Delbarton, West Virginia. Preceded in death by parents, William and Ora Gullett and nephew, William Adams. Survived by husband of 58 years, Pierce Sheppard; son, David Sheppard; granddaughter, Jessica (Matt) Jasper; great-granddaughter, Autymn Jasper; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 from 4 - 7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Friday Jan. 5, 2018 at 10 a.m., Pastor Sherry Caudill officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
